NCBW Partnered With 100 Black Men of Prince George's County For 2016 Election Watch Night

November 9, 2016

NCBW in collaboration with 100 Black Men of Prince George's County had a tremendous and successful first outing for an Election Night Watch event with approximately 70-75 folks who were individual invited guests, who heard about the event and others representing the League of Women Voters of Prince George's County, Delegate Angela Angel, United Democratic Women of Maryland, Dennis Smith, Mayor of Glenarden, MGM, and of course, Dr. James Dula, who bought kind words of support from Senator Elect, Chris Van Hollen.

The 100 Black Men had 3 young men who are mentees, serve as hosts and instructing guests where the festivities were being held.

We received Press Coverage from CTV and many in the audience and members of the NCBW and 100 Black Men were interviewed for our perspective on the election returns.
